Move over “Love Is Blind,” Netflix has a new, messy dating reality show: “Temptation Island.”

The series, which premieres on March 12, takes four couples to a tropical island, where the men and women are split into two villas and tempted by singles to cheat on their partners.

During the process, the contestants see out-of-context clips of what their partners are doing and saying at the other villa, exposing any unfaithfulness.

It’s like a cross between the Casa Amor segment of “Love Island” and Netflix’s “The Ultimatum,” but “Temptation Island” actually predates both shows, premiering on Fox in 2001.

The show ended after two seasons, until it was revived by USA Network in 2019 for five seasons. Now, Netflix has added it to its portfolio of dating shows that have become a hit for the platform since “Love Is Blind” premiered in 2020.

The new season of “Temptation Island” is premiering at the perfect time, as the franchise is causing a buzz on social media. Last month, clips of contestants on “La Isla de las Tentaciones,”the Spanish version, cheating on their partners went viral.

Here’s what to know about the season one cast of Netflix’s “Temptation Island” and where you can follow them on social media.
